It has been a long time since I tinkered with a Power Shift. My neightbor's YM 1810 has a slow to go reverse. It pulls fine but takes several seconds to go into gear after it is shifted into reverse. Forward works fine. It just started doing it after a tranny fluid change. Any ideas where to start?

Does anyone know if there is a way to adjust the neutral position on the foot pedal? I have a friend that has a 1520 that is either in forward or reverse. There doesn't seem to be a neutral on the foot pedal. He said it had a wider neutral space before. The exposed linkage doesn't help.

Is there any reason I shouldn't cut and reweld an axle tube on a trailer? I have a bent axle and have the ability to cut it and reweld it after I correct the slight bend. I just don't want to regret doing it later. I can replace the axle but this would be quicker and cheaper for me.
