I'm just curious if anyone knows either where I can find a jockey rod and bracket for a Mott D9 flail mower for a Farmall Super A. This is what came with the mower I got. I'm not even sure how it'd work but do want something that'll look a little more accurate.

I'm about to replace the front tires on my Super A and am trying to decide on a decent tire. I'm trying to decide between Alliance and Gri. Does anybody have any experience with these brands?

Looks like the reason the price is so high is due to the pin being discontinued.

I'm going to say so. What got me was that the weight stuck on the pin. Previous owners ignored it. It eventually wallered the hole for the cotter pin so much that the weight almost had full range of motion.

Thank you. That'll be a little tricky. It has a hole that goes through the center of the side for a cotter pin.

I'm needing to replace a governor weight pin on my Super A but am having a hard time justifying over $40 for one. Anybody know of either an alternative source or if it's possible to use something like drill stock to make a pin?

That very well may be a possibility.

There isn't anything in there about the linkage that I can find. It only has a couple of paragraphs on the lift with very few details.

I replaced the o rings on the rockshaft of the L-210 over the weekend due to leaks. I noticed that the lift was only going halfway up before acting like it was being stopped by something on the inside. I pulled the rockshaft out to look at everything and noticed nothing out of place. How the...

Huge update. I got ahold of a copy of the manual. The actual mounting bracket seems to be in place. That leaves the idler pulley assembly to be had.

Update: I have found a set for a Cub but was informed they won't work on an A. So the hunt continues.

I have a question. Does anybody know where I can get the drawbar and idler pulley brackets for a Mott Model 9 flail mower to go on a Farmall Super A? This is what I have to work with. It should have everything else.
