    New 1m.25

1M25 uses a 1506 mid-mount mower. The tractor has some substantial modifications versus the 1526 it replaces.

    Upgrading the GC2410

You can cut off the front part of yours and weld on a quick hitch - look up Worksaver - they probably have what you need.

What is the dif. between the 1735M and the 1835M?

Recommend staying with the Iseki engine for simplicity.

    1440V & E3CD-T Parts

1433 1433V 1440 and 1440V engine parts will all interchange. Not positive (check with dealer first) but 1533 and 1540 parts will probably also fit.

    Mf 1260 3 point

There is a know between your feet that adjusts the rate of drop on the 3 point. If turned all the way in I believe it will actually prevent the 3 point from lowering. The more you turn it out the faster it will lower.

New to me - MF 1156

Great tractor - its an 1165 and built by Iseki. It has an Iseki engine - water pump parts should be available form a local MF dealer. Fan and radiator might be more difficult. Try AGCO parts on line and see what other models might use the same parts.

Massey/Agco vs aftermarket replacement hydraulic hoses and replacement interval

For tappered pipe fittings use teflon tape and tighten them good n tite. For JIC fittings and o-ring fittings DO NOT USE TEFLON TAPE and make them good and snug - over tightening will result in leaks. Strongly recommend you google JIC, o-ring and pipe (NPT) hydraulic fittings so you know what...

Iseki vs Shibaura engines on Massey Premium Compact

Iseki engines have a very good reputation. As a manufacturer is is always better business to use your own engine vs sourcing an engine. I believe the only reason the Shibaura engine was offered is Iseki was still in the process of developing an engine that could meet the current and future...

1433v popping out of low range

Look very closely at your shift linkage - it usually turns out that the external shift linkage got tweaked over time. 1. Disconnect the shift linkage at the shift arm going into the transmission housing. 2. shift it into low range with a pair of pliers on the shift arm. 3. If it doesn't jump...

    2850e vs 2860e

2860E has an intercooler - 2850E does not. Also different fuel mapping program in ECU.

What kind of weights would you use on a 1739e?

How heavy of a rear weight do you want? I needed some ballast quickly and welded up a frame and rear wheel weights to fit the 3 point. Guessing it weighs 750 lbs or so but it sets back a little which gives it a little leverage. I need to mount some wheel weights on my tractor and once I do that...

    Anyone have a 2850e?

Huge size difference between a GC and a 2800E. Both are great tractors - your going to need a bigger trailer:)

Just got a 1739E, what are these two symbols?

There are 2 fuel filters on the tractor. 1 is a small inline filter under the tractor. BE SURE TO REPLACE THAT FILTER yearly. The engine uses a burner and injector to regenerate. After regeneration the system relies on fuel to cool down the burner and injector. If you shut the engine off during...
