    Buying New Tractor

I am getting rid of my Jinma 284 (25hp) as it has seen better days. Considering a Bobcat CT2025 that is a 25HP, 4WD. It is a 2024 model at $17K. I am wondering if anyone has had experience with Bobcat and your thoughts. Especially, the CT2025 model. Thanks in advance for sharing your views.

Today, would you buy an EV vehicle.

Actually I am amazed at how quickly EV has catapulted to where it is now. I believe EV is here to stay. However, I am not sold on it. Here's why... First, there is limited mileage per charge. So driving long distance on a trip, 300 miles or so, makes it difficult to "fill-up" your truck. This...

I have no idea what to buy

I have a Cub Cadet with 25 HP Kohler engine. Works great on my 2+ acres. Takes me about 2 hours due to going slow around several trees in an area. For me, the engine is more important than the mower brand. I agree with others about the welded deck. Also, with being comfortable when riding it...

    Battery powered chainsaw

I have a Greenworks 16 inch saw with a 40v 4amp battery. I am very pleased with its performance. Works great on small acreage I have. It's nice to use a battery and not have to mix gas and oil. I keep an extra battery for jobs that require a lot of time cutting. The length of battery time...

    New Purchase

Congratulations on owning property and horses! Reading your post I question the 200' rise on elevation as being a typo. Regardless, I have 7.5 acres with horses in north central Illinois. I have a 20 year old Jinma 284 tractor I like, a good workhorse. Implements I use with this are a finishing...

    Install Belt on Jinma Tractor

I am trying to install a fan belt on my 2002 Jinma 284 tractor. We were able to get the belt over the fan without pulling the radiator. It is very tight working in the area of the 3 pulleys. Tried removing the front part of the alternator where the pulley is, but could not do so without risking...

    Jinma Tractor won't start

While adding diesel to my Jinma 254 tractor I was warming the glow plugs. The tractor had "juice" at this time as the battery was on and gas gauge indicated it went from 1/4 to a full tank. I went to start the engine and nothing happened. No clicks, no sound, nothing. Now the needle on the gas...

    Jinma model 284

My Jinma 284 started leaking hydraulic fluid on the right side of the seat by a box and the backend where fluid is added. Any idea as to what would cause this or ways to repair it? Thanks for the help.
