I think I found the problem.

Checked continuity on the switch, here are some sketches I drew on my phone. The first is the pin configuration of the connector on the switch. The second is the continuity in the on position, the third in the off position.

I've got a 2013 xr4040h with 160 hours. Tried to use it today, and the pto won't engage. The fuse is good, (unless there's more than one), and it doesn't even try to kick on. It's as if the switch is still off. Any ideas what to check next? I'm new to working on tractors, so over simplified...
