I have a 1975 MF 165 which needs brakes. I am trying to decide whether to spend $800-1300 on brakes or purchase a smaller tractor. What is the smallest tractor I could buy that would handle the 6' bush hog? What price could I expect to get out of the MF?

I'm getting seepage from the top of the injector pump around some of the controls. I wonder if the pump has o-rings that could go bad, or packing in the nuts. I have a shop manual that shows a picture for how to bleed the pump, but I'd like to see an exploded view of the whold injector pump...

I'm trying to decide between these 4wd tractors--Farm Pro 25 hp, New Holland TC21D and the JD 430, with a 4' bucket and 4' King Cutter rotary mower. It will be used 2 times a year for bush hogging 5-10 acres. The bucket will be used for moving dirt, a few logs under 500 lbs, and snow removal.
