Hydraulic auger recommendations for my FEL

So I spoke to a sales guy at Danuser. Super helpful! He told me that despite my 18gpm tractor's flow rate, the real number would be less because of the hydraulic steering. So 15.9 gpm @ 2,888psi is the usable hydraulic capability. And with that in mind, he recommended the EP1020 (10-20gpm)...

88" box blade on a 84.5" wide tractor?

That's a nice looking setup. Which company did you use for the remotes? Nice to know that someone's getting some precipitation! The weather report keeps saying we'll get something. Sometimes I can see dark clouds. I can hear thunder and my game camera even caught some lightning, but we get a...

Hydraulic auger recommendations for my FEL

Nice! How do you store it when not it use. Can you just lay it on the ground like a bucket and use the FEL to pick it up when you need to use it again? Or is it like a PTO auger that needs a stand?

88" box blade on a 84.5" wide tractor?

I've just added a hydraulic angle adjust to my blade along with a hydro top link (it already has hydro tilt and offset), but I can't use it until my rear remote expansion kit arrives. Maybe that much adjustment at my finger tips will speed things along a bit. However, we haven't had any...

88" box blade on a 84.5" wide tractor?

My blade came with wings and I've used them to grade out a section of steep dirt road that was in very bad shape. It worked, but seem to take forever to get close to smooth. I've yet to use it to spread gravel though.

Hydraulic auger recommendations for my FEL

My tractor has a ~18gpm flow rate (not sure on the PSI though). I'll be routing hydraulic lines from the (stock) rear remote up to the FEL to power the Auger, which should allow for continuous flow @ 18gpm. I've been looking at the Danuser EP1530 which is rated for 15-30gpm. Looks like it can...

88" box blade on a 84.5" wide tractor?

I found a used BB that I'm interested in, but I wonder if it's a little to narrow for my tractor. Used ones, rated for my tractor's HP, (with hydraulic rippers) don't come up for sale all that often. New, they are $5-6K, which is more than I'm willing to pay. So waiting for a used 96" BB to...

Regret not getting a backhoe for my tractor

But, it's only when you have a one ton and an excavator, that can you live your life with no ragrets!

Regret not getting a backhoe for my tractor

They say if it flys, fornicates or floats, it's expensive. I say if it flys, fornicates, floats or farms, it's expensive 😆

American $1 bills? Nah, I'll load him up with Iranian currency (cheapest in the world). 13 yards should be about $16,000 USD. Which is about the average cost to do or fix anything around here. 🤣

Regret not getting a backhoe for my tractor

Guys I think my humor was too subtle. Re-read my OP carefully. Or TL;DR Ranches are money pits, the scale of which necessitates heavy equipment to dig said pits and fill them with all your hard earned money. Just a tongue in cheek observation on how expensive this lifestyle is. :D

Regret not getting a backhoe for my tractor

A loader is important, and I'm glad my tractor has one with a big bucket. It's proven very useful as I will explain shortly. But the loader just isn't good at digging DEEP holes. This is my first tractor/ranch and, to tell the truth, I was unaware just how critical a deep a hole would be...

    Help deciding on a grapple.

I though about that, but the layout of my controls would mean operating the loader joystick with my right hand and reaching behind my back with my left hand to operate the rear remote/grapple jaw. That's pretty awkward and the only alternative would be to operate the loader with my left hand so...

    Help deciding on a grapple.

Now that I have a grapple on order, I'm researching 3rd functions. Any of you grapple operators have opinions on a true third function vs a diverter? Looks like the pro's for a diverter are fine control over the jaws of the grapple, but without the ability to curl and operate the jaws...
