    Need a recommendation: log splitters

Several years ago, I too wanted a decent log splitter. The local farm type stores/lumber stores wanted $2k for a hydraulic splitter (no log lift). Splitter with log lift $8k+, order one and wait for it to be built. Kinetic splitter about $3k, what I chose, no lift but a 2 second cycle time...

    BX fuel filter

Learned my lesson a few years ago, left mower deck on, locked in the "TOP" position when the under carriage filter froze up. Can't lower deck if 3pt can't be raised up, very limited space for a heat gun (lucky to be within 100' of an outlet). Just added extra hoses to move my filter.

    Propane tractor

Propane tractors are/were gas tractors converted to run on propane. Diesels have greater low rpm torque, that's why gas engines fell out of the marketplace

    How would you build this?

Varies 6' to 10' wide, implement dependent. Stalls 8' deep. Once enclosed, may store extra lumber in the back of the stalls.

Mount chain saw on loader for limb trimming

My solution uses the grapple, needed for cleanup after the de-limbing https://www.orangetractortalks.com/forums/threads/found-new-job-for-root-grapple.46710/

    Front-End Loader Pulling with FEL?

I like the Danuser Intimidator. Thought it would be too much for Kubota B2650, went with Kubota STP25. Brush under 3/4", usually snaps it off. 1-2" FEL usually pulls it. 3" brush/trees, often have to be in 4wd and drive forward while pulling. Sometimes have to release tree and try from different...

b2650 almost rolled need front wheel spacers

After cleaning out my drainage ditches with a BX w/air filled tires. I bought a B2650 w/rim guard in rear tires and a ballat box filled with solid cement blocks. Something every tractor/loader manual advises against -- UNLEVEL GROUND

    Lowering bucket to the ground

When you lower loader, push harder, FEL should have a float position. Bucket may have a level indicator on it, if not top of bucket should be parallel to the bottom. Mostly just a learning curve using the bucket.

    Finally bought a small generator.

Can't make gas, diesel or propane, then solar could be a solution. A large solar gen is basically just a battery. You can recharge it with solar or gas gen. I am using ecoflow equipment (need more solar panels). Their Delta solar gens can start/stop their gas gen to recharge the battery...

    4th day with no power

Survived my 4 day power outage using ECOFLOW equipment. Delta Pro, Delta Pro extra battery, Smart gas generator (recharges 48v batteries with DC power) and 1200w solar array. This equipment ran a window A/C, TV, Ice Maker and microwave. Used the Delta Pro to recharge smaller Delta 2's to run...

Hydraulic winch and other general PT usability questions

You might consider these, they also make battery powered units. 2k or less in cost.

    Box blade setup

Correct idea, the top link setting makes the blade dig in, tranport material or spread material. A hydraulic top link makes the tool work it's best.
