I have an early john Deere 2020 that had a power steering pump and an open center steering column.
The pump failed so I put a closed center column on it and hooked it up to the main hydraulic pump
The steering works fine but there is a small stream of oil coming out of the top of the steering...
I have an early JD 2020with closed center hydraulics and open center power steering with a pwr-steering pump on the front of the engine block. I would like to do away with the power steering pump, as it is leaking oil into the engine, and run the power steering off the closed center main pump...
I have a JD 2020 gas tractor that has a power steering pump bolted to the front of the engine . It has started leaking hyd. fluid into the crankcase. it has a closed hyd. system. can I use a flow divider to eliminate the steering pump?
