I have a Briggs & Stratton 18 hp Vanguard Twin Cylinder on a Cub Cadet Model 2180 lawn tractor. When running, the choke closes about 30% on its own. I have made several adjustments to the choke cable position, but nothing works. Any suggestions?
On several occassions on uneven terrain one of the right rear whhels lost contact or traction with the ground and the mower stopped. Is this normal? Do one or both drive wheels transmit power to the ground?
I have an opportunity to purchase a new cub cadet 2180 for $1300 from Lowes. The transmission release to manually push the tractor is slugggish and has been adjusted as much as possible to correct this problem & still sluggish. Unit has 1 year warranty. Any recommenations?
