Anybody use trans eagle 16 ply on equipment trailer?

Shredded a tire this morning with my stock tires pulling my excavator. Not much of a shoulder and people and semis flew by wile changing it. Not fun…this time every steel wire in the tire wrapped around the inner hub. Took 20 minutes to cut all that out, and i had to repair my brake wires. A...

Any experience here changing out a kubota mini pilot control hose?

I’m pretty sure now i found the leak. It’s one of the gold plungers. Looking around the internet for a disassembly vid, no luck. Pretty sure that thin round top peice to the housing comes off after removing joystick assembly. Then the plunger and brass spice just come out. I’ll keep progress...

    KX040-5 excavator availability?

Dealer in lex ky has 2, i went to look at it. I think it’s a nice upgrade over the 040-4 i had a few years ago. I thought the cab would be identinticle to my u48-5 but it’s a little smaller/different. These have the 6 way blade so thats nice.

Planted 5 acres of orchard/alfalfa a week and an half ago!

Yes i put oats in. This is crappy clay soil so it doesn't wash off like good soil. I dont do good with fall planting of alfalfa because of heaving. Spits them out. I’m fully prepared to redo it but will wait to see what kind of coverage i get.

I’m sure some stuck around. We’ll see this week. But definitely a broken field. It was plowed and disced, cultipacked, drilled(conventional) and cultipacked again. If it was no tilled then it would probably be better off but all my fields need turned over. Slowly renovating in 5 acre plots.

Then we got 7.79” of rain the last 4 days. That’s a smack down from Mother Nature.

The max ramps do cause the tail to be a little lower, i had that issue. But these ramps are double hinged, they will allow for a little adjustment for height, not much but a few inches it seems.

Well, understanding people are full of BS is a good tool. As far as companies being bought up and turning to crap, i agree. So far i am happy with this PJ. The more i use it the more i like it. I welded on 4 more d rings where i wanted them. The ramps are great, and I’m not sure who started the...

Might want to research or something but diamond C is independent and never been bought. That same family owns it and the 2 brothers run it now.

Yea full fuel, i doubt the 14’s are 200lb more, 40-50, sure. I have a 600lb gravel bucket i may start back taking. Plenty of room.

I got situated, welded on some d rings in spots I needed, set my tongue weight and scaled. It’s nice having a steel trailer again, especially with an 8” tongue and frame. Going to put 14 ply on.

Eby makes a great aluminum equipment trailer and deck over. Close to $20k. All critical parts are riveted. Incidentally the new suretrac model of mine is now riveted.

Pj and big Tex are under atw, diamond c is still owned by the original family. And they are leading the industry in innovation imo and other manufacturers are following like pj.
