Loader I Buggered Up My Loader

Problem found. I may have to fire the guy that installed this. As I suspected, that square section yellow synthetic ring must have been twisted and probably started to roll out of the groove between the two green split rings as I was installing the piston onto the rod. It then got caught up in...

Loader I Buggered Up My Loader

I don't think so, but that's where I'm looking next (I have been wrong before!). The piston seals have to seal in both directions...the external seal against the barrel is two pieces, an inner square section rubber ring and a synthetic square section ring on top of it. That synthetic seal is a...

Loader I Buggered Up My Loader

Thanks, guys. Makes sense so I went out and double checked lines and disconnects. They are all good, they're colour coded so easy to trace. I think I'll sleep on it and maybe take apart the rebuilt boom cylinder to see if I messed up inside that.

Loader  I Buggered Up My Loader

KubotaB7800, LA402 loader, 830 hours. Fluid was seeping around the rod on both bucket cylinders and one boom cylinder, and the loader leaked down slowly. So I rebuilt those three cylinders using genuine Kubota rebuild kits, reassembled everything and topped up the hydraulic fluid. I have cycled...

That's 1 thru 5 on the main transmission, which on the shift pattern would be LO, 4, 5, 6, 7. Sorry for confusing things.

    Eaton Fuller 7 speed transmission

Well, I had the pain of driving a few. When I drove ready mix, some of our older trucks had this box. They are heavy duty and I'm not aware of any durability problems with them. I was used to Eaton Fuller 13 and 15 speed RoadRangers and my ready mix assignments were usually 8LL's. The 7-speed...

    Impeller Removal

When I narrowed my snowblower several years ago I ran across this same washer welded to the impeller. (The whole sad story is here.... https://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/threads/i-shrunk-my-snowblower.350327/ When I put it all back together I did not weld the washer to the fan and soon...

Anyone use “Crossfire” on dual tires?

Years ago I used something similar called Cat's Eye on a highway tractor. Yes they work.

Snowblower Lucknow SnowBlower with Comer Gearbox Type T27D

So the fan is turning and the auger stops in heavy going? I would check the two flanges that the auger shear bolt connects. I rebuilt my 72" Lucknow clone several years ago and found those two flanges rusted securely together. If the shear bolt is cut, the flanges might stick together under...
