Let me try a different tack... Anyone know if a bent part in the baffle system, that restricts air and grass movement to certain areas and diverts it to the discharge chute, would cause the mower to bog down due to trapped grass??? Part #1719600ASM, the "discharge baffle" is the suspect part...

I'd love to see the underside of a normal one... The one I just bought has a front deflector that is bent and maybe broken and I suspect is causing it to plug on heavy/long grass... Anyone know where I can access a clean view of a good one???

I have a chance to buy the above in nice condition for $3500. Is this a decent mower for 7 acres??? What should I look for??? It was kept indoors and mowed 4 acres since bought new in 06... The owner sold the place and moved to town... Should I jump on this one? Tom the mowerless

My zero cut cub just blew a tranny and I got rid of the beast... I'm looking for a lawn tractor that will cut 48 to 52 inch path, handle rough terrain, and last longer than two years... We have gone through a 2003 Husqvarna lawn tractor 52 inch in less than 4 years and a 2007 Cub Cadet 50...
