Have used tractor now for several months after getting it broke loose and have experienced no slippage; no adverse issues of any kind.. so pleased ..to say the least
Yep.. I let tires spin for minute or so.. turned it off .. backed it up ..was able get it in a higher gear let it idle against the tree.. engine stalled almost immediately… left it there all night till next day with the torque still on the tranny… (clutch pedal was clamped down to frame) never...
It’s scary apparently someone actually knows a person that would try to release a clutch by methods described “without depressing the clutch pedal open!!! 🤣 because it’s mentioned more than once …. I just assumed no one would do that…. LOL
As I mentioned in post….Did that ..no success… here’s a pic sittin on frame where it buried itself…. And yes the clutch pedal was clamped to the floor open all the way
Thats a funny… 😄 yes….it was actually clamped open “fully depressed“ to the floor board and stayed that way for 3 days… unless I took it loose to manipulate it… it was damn crazy…
Ok, let me begin by saying I have not checked with any manufacturer's to see if this was OK to do, but it worked when "nothing" short of splitting the clutch housing would....so if there is someone that feels the need to tell me I shouldn't have done this... no offense ... but I really don't...
