Thanks again to all for the replies. Again, these are all assumptions, but the overall condition of the tractor bordered on poor, so my assumption is that it came from some government entity. And I really doubt it had been apart. I am going to get a complete rebuild kit when I get it torn down...

Thanks for the reply. It's been 2 years since I had it down, but I think it had a yanmar number on the piston. And there was no evidence that it had been apart before. The tractor has 1700 hrs. on it.
