    2003 TC30 Won't Start

Well folks!!!! IT WORKED. Thanks to all that took the time to respond especially toot77. I was concerned I would blow something up given the difference in years between my tc30 (2003) and this one and the different wire color codes, but the pin out must have been the same and it worked! F New...

Thank for this. Going to give it a try. Was just about to bite the bullet and buy the part. Keep you posted. Cheers,

The thing that irks me is that the discontinued and new parts are identical with the exception of the last digit. Plus I can order a starter for this thing for the same price as this cheap little component.

Thank you for this. Yep saw those glow plug timers. Couldn't find any evidence that it is a replacement so have not attempted to swap. My seat timer is quite different. I might just bite the bullet. Haven't found any instructions on how to bypass and figuring it out is above my pay...

Would love to bypass, but easier said than done. Can't find any instructions on that. My tractor doesn't have a clutch switch. Cheers,

Thank you for this very detailed reply. Sorry for the tardy response but was off grid for the last 5 days. As it turns out it was a relay........ Part Number SBA385870641 And to my dismay the bloody thing is $360 CDN! Looked for aftermarket but haven't found one yet. Keep you posted.... cheers!

Sorry missed this.... no nothing happens. As it turns out not getting 12v to the solenoid activate terminal. traced the wire to a relay and checked good for continuity. Cheers,

Looks like I spoke too soon. Blue is down again despite it starting 10's since I cleaned and tightened the + battery wire to the solenoid. It would appear that I am not getting 12v to engage the solenoid. The solenoid works as it closed when I applied 12v to the tab. I traced the wire back...

Thanks to all that answered. As it turns out it was the starter hot wire. Last thing I checked of course. Was initially convinced it was the ignition switch because of the weird readings I got plus i have had a problem with it spinning, causing the wires to strain...... thought I f'd it up...

Thought about hot wiring it, which I think is what you are suggesting. Is it as simple as putting 12v to the starter wire at the switch? Don't want to fry anything..... lol..... I will check those switches and advise. Thanks and cheers,
