L2501. Can't see line on sight glass...over filled!

Agreed, prices go up and down all over, so shop it. keep in mind this stuff goes a long, long way. I purchased two bottles, not realizing that and it will be a lifetime supply for me, even with 5 tractors, 2 bush hogs, and a utv. (give or take a tractor or two). I am nowhere close to using half...

L2501. Can't see line on sight glass...over filled!

I just solved this issue with my Kubota M6111 (Dip stick). I purchased the Kingscote red dye. It is awesome. I also then immediately added it to my bush hog 3750 sight windows. my JD 6415, MY jd2030. my jd750, my bobcat udt and my oil compressor. In other words, anything with a sight window or a...

Anybody here have much experience with either 3 point or tow backhoe?

All I can add is do not rotate the boom of a full cat on your leg twice because wasp would not let you turn it off in the cab and you jumped on the back like a friggin idiot. The first time hurts. The second time when you turn it the wrong way trying to make it let go hurts more. It cost blue...

    bucket level indicator

I will just be damned. Just shoot me. I am going to admit something here. I did notice they were even with the bucket. But I did not notice they were even with the bucket and to freaking use them, you idiot. Geesh. I even put a bucket level indicator on mine too. What an idiot. No wonder I...

    Do backyard tractors need grease?

Lock n Lube should be a law. Those are awesome, especially the long-reach ones. I too have extra fittings to reach something the locknlube can't. The first thing I taught my boys was that you are never lucky enough to finish greasing a tractor, bush hog or backhoe on the last pump. That grease...

    Kubota RTV-X1140 disappointing performance

I ended up getting rid of mine. They have fallen behind, well they have been behind but they have fallen behind of behind. I ended up getting a Bobcat of all things. And I absolutely love it more than any UTV I have ever owned. They took the Polaris frame and beefed it up with heavier springs...

How the heck do you guys torque a cylinder nut to 600 ft lb? Rebuilding Bobcat combo bucket cylinder.

That all depends. Are they pink worms or red wigglers. I want to catch some shell crackers and they will not hit crickets for *****. Did I get off-topic? There is soooooo much to all of that. Way more than grease or dry or thread size, or percentage of thread, type of metal, condition of...

Rotary Cutter Brush cutting for beginners...

That land is begging for bulls and hogs alternating every three years. They would add a finishing touch to make me feel more at home walking through there.

How the heck do you guys torque a cylinder nut to 600 ft lb? Rebuilding Bobcat combo bucket cylinder.

Its actually very important, 450 lubed is 600 to 650 dry. Buy an impact gun that does max 700 and let it rip.

Any idea who made this grappler

Titan makes a really heavy-duty grapple for 2500. It only requires a couple of modifications to make it right. I got one about 6 months ago.

    Rotary Cutter Bush Hog Blades

I know this is an older thread but for those future seekers of knowledge, yes, slop is normal. On my 3815 I usually get around .05 on the bolt end, meaning I can barely slide a .050 shim under the blade end where it rest against the housing. Depending on how long your blade is that can produce a...

Should I cab or not. Getting ready to buy

You asked the wrong question. You are getting a cab. You should have asked how much money will I lose when I have to sell this non-cab tractor to undo the mistake of not getting one to start with. Here is the truth. Life is short, too short to spend five years in the bugs, wasp, dust...
