Does anyone have any info on the brakes of a JD 2640? Currently having an problem where the brakes have to be pumped to get any braking power, and sometimes that will still provide nothing. Do they use hydro oil for the brakes? Consider me a novice on this, just looking for any kind of info so...

I would like to get a3pt disc for my JD 650. My dad and I have different doubts for this tractor. I think a 6' disc would be the most this could handle. He feels the most would be 4.5-5'. I need at least a 5' because that's the width of tires and chassis at rear. Any info is appreciated.
