Someone posted a YouTube video a couple years ago about their 4707, their de-clutch button had quit working. I don’t remember hearing what the solution was.

Yep, I had to shim that sensor out this summer, was having issues getting the pto to engage.

Been enjoying blowing snow in this tractor. Got a new farm king 840, pretty good pair. After a while I get buzzer, like its throwing a code, but there is no code or warning lights on. Just have to restart the tractor and it goes away. It seems like its only when the PTO has been running for an...

Well, I feel really stupid. I've been really busy with harvest, never did call the dealer... decided to look over the tractor again before calling. I pulled off the black covers on the side of the cooling package and peeked between the intercooler and radiator, it was solid cat-tails. Got it...

Could be the sensor I suppose. I have not used a thermometer and it has not boiled over. It is under warranty so I'll get the dealer out. Initially I thought it was just getting hot under load but seems like it's all the time now.

Light work and this thing is hot all the time, can’t get anything done. Whats the deal? Radiator clean, got plenty of water in it. Update- hot going down the road. Must need a thermostat or water pump. Will have to get ahold of dealer this week.

I question if the digital number is a poorly placed outside air temp sensor? I will look in the book when I get a chance.

I am aware that 180 is nowhere near hot. Like I said I don’t know what temp the digital number is actually reading. I assume the water temp runs north of 200 about all of the time. Im stopping when the analog temp reading is in or near the red. It derates if you run it into the red.

Got the TDI box today, installed and tried it out for about 20 minutes. Tractor feels a little stronger. I don't know if it was a coincidence but the clutch was buttery smooth.

My MX10 will kill the tractor at idle (surprised me, I can turn the cutter by hand easily). I run 1200-1400 RPM, engage for just a second to get it moving, disengage and re-engage. Works well, hopefully not hard on anything. I ordered a TDI Tuning box to try out for now. Gonna keep trying to...

Yeah, agree 100%. I’m going to mess with it some more, see if I can’t find a solution. At this point I’ve had enough of the tractor, I will be getting rid of it as soon as I can afford an upgrade.

I got my 10ft rotary cutter going with some help from the guys on the 4700 Series facebook group. Temp on the dash was showing 165-180, not sure what that is measuring. It doesnt take long to heat up to one bar or so from the red running about 3mph in fairly dense CRP. Mow for 5 minutes...

Add high operating temps and terrible AC to the list of things I hate about this tractor. Its not even 75 degrees out, cmon.

Update- a friend had an OLD 6ft bush hog in the weeds. Put that on, works good. PTO does engage pretty violently. Occasionally sheers the pin on the bush hog driveline during engagement. Need to find 7ft so I’m atleast as wide as the tractor. Still hate the grabby clutch. Seems worse when in...

There are electrically engaged PTOs that work nice. Believe it or not, there is a difference between being lazy, and enjoying something that's not done the "hard way". No PTO levers are not bad... but the one on our 9220 sucks, and engaging it every 12-15 minutes for 16 hours a day is not...
