    Grapple style preference

I've got a 4' root rake grapple like type 1. the bottom of the tines are flat, the top surface of the tines are curved, single, two tine grapple on top (2'spacing.) My ASV RC 30 is 4' wide. I have used it 15 years, and paid 505 shipped from Millionzi, who now is out of business i guess. It is...

    Toro workman mdx

Kinda pricey, but good machines. Probably has a differential lock which helps with traction. Also look at Gator 4x2 and 6x4. I have both and can't live without them.

    Climbing uphill in Wet grass

I can suggest a JD Gator 4x2 or 6x4, pre 2005. Not fast, not sexy, but can haul materials. Dif lock on the 4x2 and its stable and goes through mud, you can even turn a little. My 6x4 with the dif lock on? You are going straight, only straight, and straight until you take off the dif lock. I...

    Cloudy fluid

That sure looks like water to me. Draining and filling with new, may take more than one cycle of fluids to get all the water out.

    Not a bush hog?

a 4' bushog is a must. If your swing radius is too tight, its not much of a trail, make the radius' bigger. I wouldn't buy a used BH either. they are too cheap to buy someone else's cast off.

    New to me Mitzi D1300FD

That looks quite minty..... I have the Mits 370D and I really like it for bushogging with a 4'. I have a RC 30 skid steer so i dont need a loader, but I have gathered a nice box blade with rippers I have yet to try since i have the RC.

Yanmar 2500 ,water in transmission/PTO system.

I just did this to my Mits. I came here looking for the "cocktail" to pickle the water out of my trans/PTO, because my lift didn't want to work. I eventually found it here and at a HEavy Equipment forum.... If not mistaken it was ATF, a little diesel and denatured alcohol in the proper volume...

    Starter swap for a MT 372 D ?

While my Starter/Alternator guy says this stock starter is plenty big enough to spin this little 2 cylinder over with plenty of torque/speed, I worry about the little plastic gear cups, and might want to look into a swap. In reading other threads on Mits/Satoh forum here, I hear talk of a Dodge...

Advice on flushing Trans/Hydro oil. Water in my MT 372D 3PH not lifting

I changed it when I got the machine a few years ago, and don't put a lot of hours on her. Like a idiot, I left in the rain too often, and got water in it, likely through the filler cap. I wanted to use the bushhog yesterday, and the lift would not work. Drained 2 gallons of milky oil out of...

What size battery are you using in your Mits MT 372D?

I have a 410 CCA battery in mine, but dang, its a slow turning thing. I have recently had to have the starter worked on to replace the plastic gear cup. I think I will have the alternator worked over too pretty soon. And re-fresh the cables and shine up the connections. Since there is ample...

Mits 372D Sway chains- Pictures please?

Anyone have pics of the sway chains? I primarily use my Tractor with a 4' bushhog, (no FEL) and sure wish I had sway chains to keep the deck from wadding up in my Rear Ag Tires.... As well, I bought a neat 3 pt frame/two position receiver hitch to move trailers, but without a sway chain, you...

What kind of steel to rebuild 6x12 dump trailer?

I have a typical 6x12 6 ton dump trailer I haul my skid steer with, and I need to replace the bed skin, and the sides/gate. I replaced the bed skin and the dumping tray in 2011, but merely cut the sides three inches shorter and got fresh metal and re-used them. The dump tray was 2x3...
