    Yes I try to collect the manuals too. Hadn't really thought about the brochures although I do have an Aussie one for the M4500DT. It says that the engine is a 4 cylinder though :-) so maybe 2 fell off in shipping.

    Has anyone rebuilt their Kobuta tractor engine using one of the ebay rebuild kits ?

    Dry liners. Tunnel type crankcase (I think that's what they call it) so you can pull the crankshaft out the flywheel end of the engine. Someone said these engines were originally designed to go in excavators, running 8+ hours/day at near max revs.
