Snow clearing with a rear blade is a fantastic time to let the wife know you actually NEED that hydraulic top link you've been eyeing...the angle of the dangle is just as important as shoes and gage wheels. Since adding mine, I've been able to skip the shoes and I'm moving very little rock.

The preheat position allows you to manually fire off a glow plug timer cycle, multiple runs if you wish. The timer varies with temp, my 3510 runs around 5 seconds when temps are near freezing, this morning (-13°F), it was closer to 20 seconds. I've never tried a pre-heat cycle when it's warm but...

GFCI circuits determine leakage current by comparing the outbound current on the black (phase) line to the return current coming back on the neutral. Any difference measured is assumed to be caused by a leakage path to ground. Here's the rub..leakage can be between the phase run OR the neutral...

The game changer for me was blocking the front end vent holes with tape to elevate engine area temps. Blankets, wraps, cardboard, tape...stay clear of the exaust and watch the temp gauge when it gets warmer. I use gaffers tape, stays on all winter and no sticky duct-tape mess.
