Adhesive for nylon in radiator bottom

I have had good luck with cracked nipples like this with 3M 5200, a polyurethane goop which holds on practically everything. I would build up a thick fillet around it. Let it cure for a day or two. It's close to indestructible, and shock resistant. You can reliably glue a boat together with it...

    Hard start D120

I have had the compression release replaced twice on this pos B&S Intek engine, and I think it's okay at this point. However, when starting, the engine whines for a while, like the starter is straining, about 5-10 seconds, then suddenly cranks and usually, but not always, starts and runs fine...

    Less expensive grapple...

This is a great dyi grapple lid! I salute you! It's very much the same concept as the Precision Manufacturing Add A Grapple, which I bought and installed. But yours probably cost less, and you can take pride in having made it yourself.

Picked up a used Stihl MS261

    How can I check that?

Picked up a used Stihl MS261

Okay, so how come my 261cm needs 9 or ten pulls to start cold? I use alcohol-free gas. Even new plug, new air filter, new fuel filter, new fuel solenoid don't help. Warm start is generally better. I try to go through the recalibration (gen 3) but it won't drop down, just keeps roaring.

Slow blades on hydraulic sickle bar

Sounds very useful! How did you do it? That is: lock the curl function, connect to the curl circuit, etc. Do you control the flow with the loader handle?

Slow blades on hydraulic sickle bar

Any recommendations on specific pump and setup?

Slow blades on hydraulic sickle bar

How did you do your hydraulic hookup? I realize that your tractor is bigger, with more flow. But still, if not 3rd function, how did you plumb it?

Slow blades on hydraulic sickle bar

On my bx25d, I have a wimpy Samurai Sabre sickle bar brush cutter. It clamps onto the loader bucket, and is powered by a cam on a hydraulic motor, hooked up to my 3rd function hoses. My hydraulic pressure tests at about 1800 psi or a little less. Will I gain blade speed and/or power if I shim...

Sorry, I already replaced the wheel and deleted the photos.

    Front wheel self-destructed

Has anyone else run into this? One of the front rims on my Kubota BX25D delaminated, and cracked through one of the lug bolts. I have been careful keeping the bolts torqued right, because the one that broke is itself a replacement (last November) for the original rim. On that one, I let the...

    Add a grapple

I put an Add A Grapple on my pin-on 48" bucket of my Kubota BX25D a few years ago. I also have a Piranha toothbar. Like you, I move dirt, logs, mixed debris, etc. I am very pleased with how it works. I removed the grapple once just to see how it went, but have not bothered to do it since. The...

Add-on Bucket Grapple for a Kubota 3200 - DIY or Dealer install?

I have had a Precision AddAGrapple single lid, the smallest, on my BX25D for about 3 years. I used a 3rd function kit from Summit Hydraulics. I installed it all myself. No prior hydraulic experience. I did a little head scratching, but it worked the first time. Good instructions on both items...
