Not sure if this belongs in this forum, but I'll give it a whirl.
I have a portable generator that starts immediately with starting fluid and then dies when the fluid is gone. I took the carb apart and noticed the float and float pin was sticking, so I jiggled them and they are working freely...
I've got an old MF 35 that usually runs well enough, but recently it sputters very badly as soon as I start it. It will stay running if I work the choke in and out, but if I let the choke back in, it will sputter some more and then stall.
Any thoughts?
