At that price? i'd consider getting one from Yanmar that you know would fit perfectly and work. I did ask about adding a 3rd function and I don't remember the price installed...but if you can find the part, installing shouldn't be a big deal...

Got a call from a Corporate Yanmar rep. They're surveying customers. Basic questions: how satisfied are you with your tractor? Would you recommend us to a friend? Have you contacted Yanmar and were they responsive? I took the opportunity to discuss the dealer network needing to be built...

I will agree with this. If Money and Storage Space are no factor....by all means, get the backhoe attachment. Just know they're limited in use, especially on a compact tractor; they don't have the swing range, capacity/power of a dedicated machine, etc... I found a friend with a BX w/Backhoe...

I don't...but a good "hose shop" should be able to make something work for you.

Friend advised me "I own a 200 acres and wouldn't buy one...rent it the handful of times you need one...way better to get other attachments you will use"...he was 100% right. They're 30%+ cost of most compact tractors and I might/could have used it a few times, but not anything I regularly need...

Find the largest hydraulic hose maker in your area...take in your link and remove one of the quick attaches. That's 100% the way to get it right the first time. I did that, but went to a small "farm" hose maker and they didn't have the smaller 3/8" JIC or banjos. #lessonlearned

Sell a bazillion motors or a few with a tractor attached? They just need to catch up...great product, needs a better dealer network is all.

If you join Yanmars website they are pretty responsive. My local dealer I bought from did have the TF500 ...after the kid sai they didn't I walked over to their parts shelf and picked up a jug of it, then he spent 20 min trying figure out how much it cost...finally said "How does $35...

Installed the Broken Anvil Grill Guard. Took about 30min. Fit the grill with the lower bolts and some clamps. Marked the mounting tab holes, center punch, 1/8" pilot hole, then step bit to 11/16ths. Paint the inside of the steel and snug it up. Pretty straight forward. Super high quality...
