You're probably not interested so haven't looked around. Tons of videos on Youtube proving they are indeed capable, pay off quick, and hold up. Many guys out there making money with them. From what I've seen, I completely disagree with your statement.

I'll answer that.....Way oil......except real way oil has gotten very expensive. I've seen mention of 'bar & chain' oil and always though it was a joke. Recently I picked up a quart of same, and come to find out it's the right viscosity and has tackifier added to it just like 'real' way oil...

Instead of getting the one he looked at with the collected quick coupler and bucket, he got another one that had the quick coupler and bucket.....and 7 hrs on the clock.

I think if the dealer at least made the effort to wash and wipe off the grease it would have went a long way. New machines should look new, the dealer should have that bit of pride and put in that small effort. Delivering the machine as clean as practical, might have made the 7hrs not so hard to...

Also if it's a cast aluminum trans case......they can break more easily than people think. Sorta related, my neighbor has a Kubota with a backhoe on it. He was working out a stump. Cracked the cast aluminum case. Expensive part and expensive labor to replace. He (and I) was shocked to see it...

Honestly they are good neighbors, but I can't get a word in edgewise when I interact (listen to) them. Not worth the effort to ask more details. All I know is what was said... as I said. Apparently the guy's been in trouble with the cops before. They went to the seller?? Really, would you think...

Yes tractors are cool and handy. If you were ever in a position to need/want/could use/ a Forklift...... Now that's another whole level of handy. I have several that are currently under my care.
