    Post hole digger…

You really don't need to worry about max HP ratings. You just need to use common sense when using the attachments. With the exception of width of tires for tilling and mowing (to a point), you really don't need to be concerned. I've used 60 HP tractors with 4' bushogs that are meant for a...

Flail and HP needed to run.

That's the same mower I got, but without the hydraulic side shift. I love my Woodmaxx.

Flail and HP needed to run.

I run a 700# Woodmaxx 62" flail mower on a BX2200. 22 Engine HP, and I think like 15.5 HP to the PTO. It runs it very well, and I've cut a 6 acre field of 4' tall grasses with the roller at the top position and the rear flap open. Y-Grass Knives. NO issues. Just used low gear the entire time...

    Attachment for managing cleared woods

Why not get a flail mower and mow it occasionally? It'll mulch up small branches and get the little stubble that starts popping up. Along with mulching up the leaves. Would do much better than a brush cutter.

Rear Finish Mower Are Pegasus rear finish mowers any good?

For $950, I'm surprised it lasted 50 minutes. For $2,500 here in upstate NY, you get some rusted probably 5,000+ hour used up king kutter... Nothing but rip offs around my neck of the woods most of the time. I live in the wrong state...........

    HP For Snow Blower

I run a 60" Braber on my Kubota BX2200. Never any issues with 3'+ snow. I also run a 62" Woodmaxx Flailmower on my BX2200. Mowed 3'+ grasses without issue. Would I like a bigger machine? Of course, but my BX2200 hasn't complained about lifting or turning those two heavy implements.

A couple of interesting finds on my property.

Only thing I've found in my land has been arrow heads, trash, and my golf balls. I found that golf balls versus flail mowers gets interesting.

Where do These Chains on my Bush Hog go?

My guess would be check chains for a machine that didn't have a conventional check chain system.

    Cat 0 Implements?

One of my neighbors had a 1988 Yamaha Terrapro ATV that had a PTO with a finish mower. Pretty neat little machine.

Modified Mohawk B-5 Rotary Cutter - How to Return to Safe Use

Make sure the PTO shaft slides in and out freely. If it don't take it apart and grease it. I would look at changing some of those bolts to grade 8 at minimum if they aren't.

    Driveway weed clearing

I used to use a propane tank on a hand truck with a wand... that got SOOO old. A week later the grasses would start growing. Not to mention it would usually take 2 to 3 tanks of propane just to do my entire driveway! At about $30 in propane, and results that would only last a week, no way. Then...

    Driveway weed clearing

I only need to do my gravel side driveway once a year... I use UltraKill herbicide. This is my sprayer: - Garden cart attached to my tractor. - 55 gallon plastic trash can. - 800 GPH bilge pump. (Hooked to my tractor battery with alligator clips and momentary button switch) - 3/4" PVC pipe...

    Flail mower blades

My Woodmaxx with the Y knives makes my yard look great! Just look at that cut and striping! I love flail mowers.

    Flail mower blades

For those problems where the stiff stems, I just go back over the area in the opposite direction to get them and to remulch. I have a Woodmaxx 62" running the Y knives and they've cut everything I've thrown at it. Including small saplings.

    Bush Hog repair question

I would weld it. Even if it did come off, it will be like a rock getting hit. Also, there should be NO bystanders around when using a bush hog. If there is that much questionable debris, I would consider a flail mower to keep things contained. Which is a reason why I went with a flail because...
