Oil & Fuel  CT335 starved for fuel, maybe not...

My 10-year old CT335 with 560 hours on it has developed a weird problem. I am losing power when engaging PTO-driven implements. History: ran out of fuel. Replaced fuel filter and had to bleed the fuel lines of air to get it running right. Hook up the finish mower and hit the grass only to...

Price Check  CT335 - Parts prices rocketed.

Know the price and availability of parts before you buy. Example: cracked and broken clear plastic cover on instrument panel. OEM = $550 It is part of an "assembly" which includes the entire instrument panel, plastic cover, and screws. A simple branch falling and cracking the plastic cover will...

Landpride FDR 2584 Rear Finish Mower - Initial review.

Having stooped using my Hanmey FM N180 after 7 years, I replaced it with a Landpride FDR2584 Rear Finish Mower. I have 10 acres of lawn that rolling small hills and not limited to grass as being the exclusive species. I was reluctant at first to go to a 84-inch deck because of scalping. The...

    CT335 Electrical Problem

Getting ready for winter repairs. Here is one that has lasted all year: Headlights (low or high), turn signals, horn, cruise control, and instrument panel lights to not work. Fuses are all okay and voltage is passing through the fuses. Hazard flasher does work. Taillights and brake lights work...

Loader  Hydraulic **** - any ideas?

CT335 350 hours. Bucket will curl down to the usual stop but will only come up about 1/4 of the way from fully down. The hydraulic system loads down if I attempt to curl up past where the bucket stops. Fluids, filters, connections all okay. Rear hydraulics work okay. bucket raise/lower works...

Seeking specifications for a rear wheel bolt on a CT335.

The wheel bolts and nuts on my CT335 have a bad habit of working loose despite my visual diligence. I lost one wheel bolt only to find my local dealer (60 miles away) want $22 for a single bolt. They would not tell me the OEM part number and suggested that I purchase a $123 repair manual. Can...

Local (60 miles away) Dealer wants $22 for a single wheel bolt for the rear wheel on a Bob cat CT335 compact tractor. I am attempting to find another source. Dealer will not tell me the part number and I would have to buy a $100 manual to find out. Can anyone help?

3-Point Hitch  CT335 - 3-point hitch raises normally but lowers very slowly.

I changed the hydraulic oil and filter, now the 3-point hitch will raise normally but take 5 minutes to lower. Fluid levels are perfect. Can anyone tell me where to look next? Thank you in advance for your response.

    CT335 Filters and fluids

I know that this has been in many previous threads but a renewal of information may be useful now. Many have bemoaned the prices of Bobcat filters and rightly so. The only reason to charge $100 or more for a filter is greed. I have taken the time to check most all of the filter manufactures to...

Rake  I need a really large lawn vacuum / rake

I mow 10 acre of grass lawn/gold course. My rear discharge finish mower kind of evenly disperses the clippings. I need a rake that can windrow the short grass clippings. Does anyone know of such a thing? It would be better to pick up the clipping and put them into my compost pit. I cannot see...

    Flames painted on the hood

This has been discussed before with one poster showing some nice pictures in 2006. I am wondering what it would look like to have flames painted on my new tractor that has a white paint job. Perhaps I am attempting to "pimp my tractor", but I am not trying to ask for expected abuse. I just...

Happy Birthday, have a piece of tractor.

Oh yes, happy joy, wahooo! Words alone cannot adequately describe the feeling you have when your first brand new tractor arrives. The anticipation, the telephone calls, the laying in bed reading the brochure. Then the day is upon you. The clock ticks, a car comes down the road, could it be? The...

Rear Finish Mower  Reveiw of Hanmey (Betst Prod) 72" RFM

This is my review of a Hanmey RF1800 rear finish mower purchased for Betst Products. I visited the dealer 5 days ago (Creswell, OR), agreed to purchase one of four 72" rear finish mowers he had in stock. He said that he would have it all ready for me when I would arrive 5 days later. I...

Would you burn heating oil in your tractor?

I have found some interesting threads in this forum complete with technical specifications and some funny anecdotes. Here is the situation: 200 gallons of #1 heating oil is free if you can haul it away over 12 months and remove the tank it was in. The oil is clean and without water. It does not...
