I have a 1984 1310, manual steering with a loader, that is too big for the tractor. Well, the steering box is severely worn and upon inspection there is no lower bearing or bushing for the sector shaft. The shaft rides on the case itself. Is there a way to rebuild the box? A better solution...

It has come time for another oil change. It's a 1984 Ford 1310. The tractor sees about 15 hours of use a year, as in it has a total of 544 hours on it. The oils gets changed every three to four years. I do, however, try to make sure the engine reaches operating temperature whenever I run it...

Howdy. I have a Ford 1310 4wd tractor with a too big of loader on the front. The loader does casue problems, as in I always have to have something on the 3 point as a counter balance and the steering box is severely worn. It's also manual steering. I will post specifics in the appropriate section.
