Agreed the temp gauge is what's throwing me off. It was dead level. Some other heavy duty mechanics have speculated that it might be bad injectors and the melted injection harness was a product of that as well constantly calling for Regen. Just another avenue im looking at.
Agreed that's why I'm wondering why this safety device isn't installed? Obviously cost. But in this instance it's a possible argument if it goes the legal route.
Thanks for the video. There is no argument on my end that that can't be done. The running Regen and the parked Regen fallow under around the same rpm range by the looks of things.
I think there is something going on with bad injectors possibly causing the constant need for Regen. But...
There is certainly of damage due to pictures submitted to me by service manager. The plastic radiator mount is seen below.
The crack occurs through thin metal mesh on hood that protects exhaust pipe. Age of damage is hard to determine due to tractor having only 67 hours on it.
The owners manual...
Yeah unfortunately it's under my home insurance policy which covers theft l, vandalism, collision with another vehicle and of all things an airplane falling on it it. So sadly I'm pooched on that front.
Thanks for the response. It wasn't def it was DPF. It's a tier 4 emissions control function relegated to tractors over I believe 25 HP. Not fluid but filter.
Yes I did. It goes into a higher rpm till x amount of time determines that the diesel particulate filter is cleared of "soot". During this process if you run your tractor it will void the Regen and postpone the eventual event. Eventually this action will lead to " forced" Regen you can't...
Thanks for the response. I called kioti directly was told all communication goes through dealer. Was also told by dealer I was not allowed to talk to rep that handled root cause analysis.
