    TODAY'S GUN TIME

LOL - we have an M&P 15-22 and it is a fun little gun. I got it for my wife and kids to shoot and they enjoyed it (kids got older and moved after college). I may need to get it out for the wife one of these days!

    TODAY'S GUN TIME

That Walther looks pretty neat. Do they make it with a threaded barrel? I sort of went on a .22 kick the last few years - really like shooting them with subsonic suppressed as it does not annoy anyone, don't need hearing protection, and is still cheap to shoot.

"The last kitchen refrigerator "failure" was probably just a $30 cooling fan, and might have still been covered by warranty. But when it's a 10-day wait just to get a repair man out to evaluate the failure and tell you whether it's going to be covered by warranty, let alone the additional time...

    Brought 57 cub home today

Restored a 1957 Cub Low boy this past year. Great little tractor (that I will never use), but it will be fun at fairs and shows!

How much ballast for an MX6000?

I believe it is around 1900, maybe close to 2000lbs. The frame is I beams and C channel, all filled with cement. I personally wanted close to the 3pt lift capacity so I could use the loader safely, especially when I am using the grapple and moving firewood. If I am doing firewood, I split oak...

How much ballast for an MX6000?

All heavy steel and concrete - set it up for carrying saws and towing the log splitter at the same time. (MX5100 in photo)

How much ballast for an MX6000?

LD1 is correct. The cab and filled tires is NOT enough. I have the MX5100 (same machine, less HP) and run a rear weight box that is around 1900-2000 lbs and I have loaded tires spread to max width. With max loader lift I can still feel a little light in the rear moving bins of Oak firewood...

So when Honda was offering .9% interest and I was making over 14% interest at the time I should have paid cash??? I guess I missed something in my financial classes... I am only mentioning this to point out that everyone has different circumstances and no one correct answer exists.

    New SXS

Ouch! The prices of SxS's are getting insane. Sounds like you made a good decision and will have a good machine. If you get out riding and working at night we found a backup added to the rear is extremely handy for closing gates, to, well, backing up. Lol ENJOY the new machine!

    New SXS

CF Moto seems more popular overseas but certainly a decent machine for the price. We have 2 SxS's - this year I bought a little Kubota 520 RTV and love it for yard work, working our road and woods, and stuff like that. It is slow but has a lot of grunt in low for pulling stuff and working...

2 post or 4 post vehicle lift ideas

Yes, Sir, that is correct. This version is the same length as the standard, but with wider posts and runners. I went with the wider shorter lift since this is as large of a truck as I ever plan on buying. I also didn't want to eat up too much garage space so that is why I skipped a longer...
