I take strips of old carpet, maybe 8" wide by 12" long, and cut slots transversly about 2" from each end. You can feed the tie down...

drywall fine thread screws to install drywall in wood studs instead of metal studs

In wood working I use fine thread screws in hard lumber, such as oak and maple. And coarse thread screws in soft wood, such as pine. Jon
