Just when out and checked it again. Jacked up it it turns opposite like it's supposed to. When turning the wheel no trany gears are moving at all, in gear or neutral. While still off the ground and jumpbox on starter wheels turn in right direction. In gear and not in gear? On ground can not...

They do move in opposite direction when jacked up , that I checked earlier. But can't even push it in neutral when on the ground. With clutch held down. All clutch parts new.

Sorry about not clear how I explain things, 75 years old and don't think as clear as I used to. Thanks for the replies.

Trany can be shifted on to all gears smoothly when not running. Grinding when running?
