Oil & Fuel Damaged fuel line on MF2410

My fuel line ziptied to the left bottom framerail by MF was cut after I thought I fully attached my MMM PTO... well, it came off and ended up cutting it. Good thing that heavy armor wire wrap was put on to protect it (j/k). As exposed as thr fuel lines are under the mower, you would think...

    MF 2326 MMM PTO Shaft

I have a 25HP GC1725M MF tractor with a MMM. Im having issues getting the MMM driveshaft back together after it separated while removing the MMM to do some dirt work. The male end attached to the MMM is fully splined, while the female slip side is splined and keyed. Can any of you confirm it is...

Ford 8N or similar older types

Yea, Ive spent a fair amount of time researching between yalls advice, youtube, and visiting 3 dealer lots (JD / MF / and Kubota). Yea, thats what I love about those Ford 8N, 9N models... simplicity, ease of mx, and parts availability. I may get one and use it for a couple years, then buy a new JD 5 series down the road. Im aiming to find one that has been gone through w/rebuilt motor, painted, etc to keep the mx costs down...

If not an 8N or 9N, what would be a good recommendation for the work I might be doing under my budget of say $6k (listed in first post)?
