Changed out blown hydraulic steering hose. When put back together can't get no steering. Tried bleeding lines but no luck. Any ideas?

I have a TC 40 that will not move in any gear but 1st or 2nd in low or medium range, I think it may be the clutch but did not smell it burning. Any ideals would be appreciated. I was also wondering how much trouble it would be to self perform clutch replacement if that is the problem. Tractor...
