You guys are great.I see now that it is the unit on the firewall. it's facing down with a shrink tubing around the bottom of it where the connector plugs into it.
I can't seem to find the timer on the tractor. The only place I see anything similar looking is right, front by the regulator or on the firewall but neither has numbers on it like the Messicks numbers. Mine are both Nippondenso originals. For now I'll continue with the manual shut off.
Yes there is a timer relay however it's too complicated for me in the wiring diagram and also the relay is discontinued according to the Kubota web site
It's such a good machine and a shame if parts are discontinued

I have an L2550 and the key no longer shuts the tractor down. The fuel solenoid works when voltage is directly applied and the ignition switch itself seems to test okay with an ohms meter. Harness wires and plugs also seem to look fine. It starts fine with the key but no voltage...
