LS Tractor Oil, Gas, & Air Filter Information

The WIX WL7426 oil filter does NOT fit my MT240HE, it's too tall and interferes with the loader support. Just FYI. I thought I had a LS filter but don't so now I have to scramble to see what I can find that will work. no LS dealer within an hour. Edit: Well, we have a new dealer 40 minutes away...

LS Tractor Won't Start After Hooking Up Bush Hog

I believe my PTO can be on and as long as the brake is on (and hydro pedals are centered so switch is made) I can exit the seat or even start the pto from the ground not even in the seat. This is how it would need to work for a wood chipper to operate.

LS Tractor Won't Start After Hooking Up Bush Hog

This is the best recommendation! I have had to cycle my PTO button a couple times to get mine to start. So far it's never been the pedals but I can see that as a possibility. Mine I do not have to be in the seat or have the parking brake on to start it, which is why there is a pedal "neutral"...

    Holly F...ng Branson!!!!!!!

Design is one part of it, but then you have budget manager('s) and purchasing dept. involved downstream. Budget dept. requests less expensive steel, purchasing department finds it cheaper but doesn't realize why the cost is reduced, i.e. thinner gauge/wall steel, lower grade steel, all things...

    20 inch chainsaw recommendation

I'm also a fan of the 261, I have the MS 261CM i bought in 2021 or 2022 and it always starts on the 2nd or 3rd pull when completely cold and first pull the rest of the day. Northern Tool has them on sale for 720 but my local Stihl dealer had them on sale for about 638 last month during the Stihl...

    Texas Fall/Winter thread!

This dust that has been blowing all day is terrible! I saw it predicted on the news but didn't catch where it originated or why. Didn't really notice it until I looked down the street and it looked almost fogging and the pickup that was very clean is now covered in a layer of dust.

    Changing Wildlife Patterns

They must have migrated north into MO.! The few times we were on our property we had way too many even with using tick spray. Not many made it to skin though thank goodness.

    Changing Wildlife Patterns

I think you answered your own question! Wild hogs decimate directly or the habitat of all those listed except #4 I can't explain.

    Trailer Tires

I used to go to Walmart and get Goodyear or Carlise tires and then they can be covered under warranty at any Walmart however they stopped offering road hazard on trailer tires. So now you can pay for a cheap unknown brand tire at Walmart and if it fails just buy another one, or you can go to...

Talk me out of an excavator!

Not trying to talk you out of buying an excavator, but another option to consider is prescribed burning. This is what I hope to do on our property. https://www.vafirecouncil.com/

    Health Care Prior to Medicare?

I am right there with you! I actually think we have a couple options and either one is going to work for us and be about what I had budgeted for or just under. Only issue right now is, we had to sign up by 2/20 to be covered by 3/1 when my coverage from my past employer expires, so we'll be...

    Health Care Prior to Medicare?

I already see a few companies Denying for pre-existing conditions, then the agent refers you to another plan. It's in the wording of what the "Heathcare" company defines itself as.
