there are a number of plugs in the 1500 that must come out..usually they may be white.. but anyway.. atleast 5 plugs... 3 on the trans and 2 on the final gear box area.. to get the oil out.. usually if is very sluggy and may need to be helped a little in coming out... but definately, more than...

when nothing comes out.... and you know there was oil... it is usually plugged with sludge... stick a screw driver in and clear out the gunk... hopefully then it will come out. Just a thought... :)

Anyone with an electrical Schematic for the Montana 3440, the Farmtrac 330, or the LS 330, I would appreciate a copy.. It seems this is a rarity..... Parts books etc are findable but this little schematic has been like pulling hens teeth... Just cant seem to find it.. thanks in advance....

I have a 3440 Montana.. I bought it broken and rebuilt it. It is a 2006 model. The head dropped a Valve seat in middle cylinder and I found the seat beat into a million peaces... Had to replace head and piston/rings rod bearings. The head was another problem.. Montana dealers wanted $3500.00...
