hello new to site . i broke my 640 tractor moving snow today, 1st gear just above idle drove in to snow pile moving loader up and POP now no drive forward or reverse every thing else works just fine(loader, 3 point, Pto , engine) anybody have an idea what may have broke? ( trans output shaft...

well today wasn't a good day. i've been using my tractor for snow removal all winter with minimum problems and today it broke. i was using the front end loader ans 1st gear moving a pile of snow when there was a load pop and now no more drive . i think the pinion shaft broke but not sure...
