I read about a small tool that motorcyclists use to lube their cables. It attaches to the end of
the cable and you spray oil inside a small port. This would be great for my old bcs and mower too. Anyone tried one of these?
I have a 716 all apart minus the tranny. The clutch is rusty and stuck. I've sprayed it full of wd40 and put it in a press. No luck. I left the cone pusher and bearing assembly on the clutch while pressing. I've pounded with a hammer.
What parts actually separate when the clutch disengages...
I just bought a used BCS 716. Briggs engine needs rebuilt. I want to put a cheap new engine on it while I rebuild the Briggs. I'm not sure how to ensure the replacement engine fits/works.
I'm looking at the 6.5 hp horizontal shaft from harbor freight. Any tips?
Thanks in advance.
