i really haven’t noticed much noise but I haven’t really started using the shop yet. I think the insulation above the metal ceiling will minimize any real noise.

The metal cost $3.05 per ft for 29 gauge that is 36” wide. I bought it from a local place that buys the metal in large rolls and then form it to whatever length you want.
Took me about 3 weeks but I finally finished the metal ceiling on my new shop under construction. 16 and 8 ft panels. My wife helped me I put it was still a lot of work
Thanks Eddie but it hasn’t been painted yet. The 4 by 8 panels are cream colored from the factory and the battens Are yellow from the factory. I will probably paint the shop green and the bottom wainscoting will be a darker shade of green. The fascia has been painted and is white.

Some updated pics. Have the Hardie and electrical done. Will order the steel for the ceiling next week. The area under the porch will be brick wainscoting.
I have lespedzamin my centipede grass. Can you tell us how to mix the remedy to get rid of the lespedza. Do you know if it will Hurt the centipede?
