    BX23

My 23 is not stopping when I take my foot off the pedal. As soon as I touch the brake pedal it stops immediately. Currently it kinda runs on. What is the adjustment on this. Much obliged for any help.

    2003 BX23 sell price

My wife and I are considering selling the place and moving to an area where I would not have need for the BH. This is not imminent but… I bought his machine in about ‘12 for a good price. There was a grower out here who thought it best that he depart the area right pronto and I bought the 200 hr...

    Digital display on the 2660

Yes it did continue. It would faintly come up on start-up, but impossible to read. I tried different lighting angles, in the dark, Flashlights.

    Digital display on the 2660

Shazam! A few years back the tach/hr meter display on the 2660 disappeared on me. Today, it magically came up bright. Replacement cost a few yrs back was in the $400+ range, so I did without and kept up with oil etc more than was necessary. Nice to have it back.

    Top link to short

Thanks for the suggestions. Yes, every BB should have hydraulics, but for the amount the BB gets used there is no joy in the expenditure for the hardware. Yes, I am trying to rip without dragging the dirt with the blade. Yes, the rippers are adjustable for length Orr depth, but I am at the...

    Top link to short

I have a BX2660 with the 48” BB. I want to set it far enough forward to only have a few inches of the rippers in the gravel driveway but the top link is a tight as possible and I can’t run it without the blade picking up a lot of gravel. The body of the top link is 12”. It is a replacement from...

    Cost of pallet forks

While I understand the benefit of the bolt on forks as more capable and closer to the front axle, I went the forks on bucket route. They fit both the 2660 and the 23. They are 3x.25” channel, 2x2x.019 riser and my Mcgiver attachment of a 1x6 blk npple and a couple pieces of angle iron and a #8...

Curious if BX23S seems appropriate? .58 Acre, Many Projects

I’ve been very pleased with my BX23. ‘I’ve had it for 10 yrs.I had only a couple digs where the tractor was not up to the task. One was a very Bonney hard pack that I simply could not get into. The other was a clay bank taht was hard and again could not break it down. The hoe was moving the...

    How do you choose?

Ning, the property is clean, clean and the grass (lawn;) is long dead. It‘s dry enough that even the weeds aren’t growing. I left them both in the bare yard. I have taken the LP, gas/diesel cans out to a bare neutral corner away from anything. I’ll park the Tacoma out with the tractors.

    How do you choose?

We have a fire running our way right now and expecting to be evacuated in a while. Pretty much ready to go when the call gets close. I have a 650 hr 2660 with a FEL and Box Blade mounted. As well, I have a 675 hr BX23 with the Bh and fel. I have both out in the side yard right now, but my wife...

    Chop Saw Reccomendations

I had the Makita abrasive and when I went to the Evo 14” I gave the abrasive saw so I would never be tempted to use it again. I’ve done a lot of 2, 3 &4“ sq tube and smaller pipe sizes up to 2”. The evo has been clean cutting consistent. Yes, I confirm angles, but I’d do that anyway. I lost a...

Glow plug warning light on 2660

While mowing I notice the glow Plug light on while operating. What am I looking for on this?

BX owners: any ways to increase loader capacity?

Both my BX’s give me the willies when I get near “capacities.” If it takes one or two more lifts or trips to be comfortable and safe on the machine then I’m ok with it. I got hung up on PTO hp and ended up with a 2660, which has been an excellent machine. I prefer the BX23 however as it is just...

    BX dash moisture solution?

I lost the hr meter/tach function on the 2660 4-5yrs ago. If I position the tractor and have just the right amount of light I can see the hrs flash, but that only recently. I have been estimating oil change times. I just pulled the 700 hr service and was able to see the hr meter at 678, so...
