ive got the snap ring and gear off but cant find a socket with 6 notches that big/deep enough so i guess im going to have to make one as i imagine a custom made one will empty my pockets! Thanks

i believe it does need a special tool and they are tourqed very high so i think id be fighting a losing battle!

Hello all! Ive got a 1985 ford 555 4wd backhoe with what i believe to be a carraro front axle. There is a 6 notched castleated nut that i ned to remov eto replace the u joints but i cannot find anything anywhere! Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
