    Home weather station suggestions

Strange that none of the three data points on the small display repeat on the larger one.

    First electric tractor ride

My 5 gallon can of diesel fuel will work in my Kubota, John Deere, New Holland, Ford tractors and Cat dozer as well as my trucks, pretty universal. They need to standardize batteries and make them quick change. I'm tired of my cordless tools and their proprietary battery packs.

Will this hold or crack over time? Do more passes?

These plates should be beveled both side and I don't see much penetration. More like a metal glue gun.

    Starting Problems - 2005 New Holland TC35A

I have had this problem on several tractors (especially older John Deeres). There seems to be to much voltage drop on the small wires in the loop to the starter solenoid. From where ever the ignition switch is getting it's power through the switch contacts then through the various safety contact...

    Trailer surge brake bleeding

I have completely replaced or rebuilt the surge brake system on our boat trailer. Bought used and not sure they ever worked. Rebuilt the master( is this PC?) cylinder and replaced everything else (backing plates, shoes, slave cylinders) because they were garbage. Some of the steel brake lines...

Why not sugar water in tires instead of beet juice?

Fellow Western Washington member here and I get my tires filled with beet juice at my local tractor tire dealer for 3.00 dollars per gallon. Beet juice weighs about 11 lbs./gal. You needing 200 lbs. would need 18.2 gals. which would be around 55.00 dollars per tire. This would be around 57% of...

    No more 'treadle pedal'

I have the large treadle peddle on my B20 and don't mind it a bit. What drives me crazy is the brake pedals on the same side forward of the treadle. How did they ever expect someone to operate both at the same time?

New Tractor: Three Point Hitch Came Apart (see pictures)

It looks like the turnbuckles for the lift arm and the top link are improperly installed. There should always be the same amount of threads showing above and below the turnbuckle.

    Questions about John Deere 790

i was just thinking that if the 3 point hitch is empty the lower arms would be free to swing into the tires if they weren't bungee corded together.

new to me 03 century 2535

Please tell me you have your raised loader securely blocked up. I've seen in several places that new head bolts should be used because once they are torqued and "stretched" they will not stretch again.

    Questions about John Deere 790

Click on the link in Reddogs #19 post. You can see tire marks on the 3-point lower arms. This is a flaw in the tractor design which is exacerbated by any implement that might impose a side force such as a blade at an angle.

New Holland/Ford 555E engine oil issues

I wasn't suggesting hot wiring around the fuse except "very briefly" as a trouble shooting tool. Check your fuse panel and make sure someone hasn't jumper the fuel shutoff fuse(5 amp). If this or any fuse in panel has been jumped then the master fuse is next in line.

New Holland/Ford 555E engine oil issues

The question still remains why did the fusible link fail? Thanks for responding with your outcome. So many times an thread just stops without a conclusion.

New Holland/Ford 555E engine oil issues

You might have two separate but related issues. 1: Sounds like you have no power beyond your starter. Could be a blown fusible link wire or fuse in line from the starter solenoid to the ignition switch. If you have voltage at battery cable at starter that eliminates bad ground wire. With switch...
