What's the difference in a box blade & rear blade? I planned on getting a box blade for my tractor, but then I saw a rear blade and wondered what was the actual designed use for each one. What jobs are better suited for each?

My property has some trails which are just tire tracks worn into the ground. Can I use a box blade with rippers to scrape a real road onto the surface? Would it also work to smooth my dirt roads that have rocks sticking up through the surface?

I am looking to buy my first tractor. I want to run a 6 ft. brush hog. I have been told 35-40 HP is the minimum to run this impliment. What are your opinions about MINIMUM, and RECOMMENDED HP? Will running minimum working HP hurt my tractor? I'll be brush hogging about 100 cleared acres.
