Very nice. I guess you'll haul that to the station to fill? I want to put together something that I can get bulk delivery and maybe save a few cents. Saving an old heating oil tank for that project.

Yeah, I can easily lift it in and out of the truck with pallet forks. Bulk delivery requires purchasing more fuel than I would use and it wouldn’t be fresh.

Where did you get the shiny metal framework on the base?

Nice setup.

I have that same fill-rite pump. Do you find it very difficult to crank? I get about 20 turns and I'm suffering. I called them about it and they sent me a new one, but same thing.
I have a 50 gallon transfer tank, and a 115 gallon supply tank on my hybrid solar/kubota diesel generator power trailer, and it takes me for ever to keep it topped off. Last time, my wife and I shared crank duty.

I haven’t used this particular pump yet because I just completed the assembly yesterday and now I need to fill the tank. But I have used a friend’s same pump and I didn’t have problems filling the tractor tank with it.

Nice setup. I like the metal pallet, but they are a little pricey for me. I made a crude pallet with a 4x4 base on top of 2x8's, which then sets on a metal rolling dollie to move it around the barn.

Nice clean build!

I did something similar with a 30 gal drum mounted on a cart. That way, I can wheel it around to fuel various pieces of equipment. I fill it from my 1000 gal furnace fuel oil tank, but it can be loaded into the pickup using the FEL bucket if necessary. Instead of a hand pump, I used a 12V transfer tank pump powered by a cordless tool battery.

Looks good. I replaced handcrank with a 12v pump. One thing you can add is a fuel level gauge. I got mine on Amazon. It fits in the fill hole while in use...I remove it to transport... which I need to do today.

Filter may be plugging up, I have a manual pump that gets hard when filter is plugging. I use a water filter

As other has mentioned, check filter. Also check tank vent.

Nice build.
I have one of these. Not as solid as yours.
Price actually dropped since I bought mine late in 2022 From $662 when I bought it to $562.. and they added the filter.

I thought about that tank, but decided to do a project. Why? Winter doldrums.

I looked on Amazon and saw quite a few. But none of them had sender tail long enough to reach the bottom of the tank. Can you please send me a link to the one you’re using?

Where did you get the battery adapter? I have 2 large fuel tanks (one for gas and another for diesel) I am mounting on a small trailer and a cordless tool battery(s) to run the pumps would be great.
