A good test is to put it in airplane mode, then turn on WIFI, so cellular isn’t an option.
yes, phone says not connected to a network, although it shows connected to wifi network and I can use the web... so the wifi calling is not working though turned on in settings.

got it to work, had to turn wifi calling off then back on, and I also updated my home address for E911, even though it was already set. One of those two got wifi calling working again. Mine goes out over starlink.

When the sons band was moving around we brought as few drums as possible.
One big amp and a few small ones.
Still a bit of work, but bringing the whole drum set was not going to happen

my phone is set for wifi calling, but it doesn't seem to work....
I have a Weboost LTE booster, but a cable connector broke on it a few years back, and reboost would not fix it. I soldered the connector back on, but doesn't appear to work. It was around $500 new. Has an outdoor antenna you point towards the tower, and an indoor amp and antenna.
The weboost cables are pretty standard as I recall, and available lots of places, including directly from weboost. My advice is just make sure you have the right connectors on both ends as weboost used a few different ones.

I had to replace a cable last week that a contractor had kinked and broken the inner wire within the cable. It's great to have it working again. I bought the cable from data-alliance.net, who shipped within three hours of my order and used FedEx 2-day as their (inexpensive) default shipping.

In the past, not all cellular providers turned on WiFi calling unless you turned it on in your phone and asked them to turn it on as well. No idea the state of things today. From experience some phones have algorithms that favor cellular over WiFi unless the cellular goes away completely, which is not helpful for those of us in fringe areas. One of my siblings lives in town, in a cellular shadow, and calls are a crapshoot because they don't follow @Popgadget's advice to use airplane mode and WiFi when they are home.

All the best,

Peter

31F and cloudy @ 16:30, heading down to around 23F for the overnight low. Winter Weather Advisory still in effect until tomorrow until 10:00.

Good visit with dermatologist, said BCC she cut out looks good, no evidence of it returning.

Froze a couple of AK's on my forehead, come back in six months.

Receptionist at check-in said I had a $285 balance ... but it looked weird ... so she walked back to Billing to check on it ... nope: billing error, zero balance ... (y)

Stopped and filled up Woman's car on way home.

Collected mail on the way in.

Had a bowl of the beef barley soup The Woman fixed yesterday once got inside, fired up torpedo heater in garage so it would warm up while I was eating.

After my snack I prepped some seed for the birds and got the hopper filled. Also scattered some seed for the ground feeders.

Brought elephant ear inside, still have another six or so plants to do.

Scheduled bill for payment.

Changed back into work clothes.

Doled out another week's worth of meds.

About head downstairs and retrieve the larger two-wheeler so I can get those plants moved in.

Then probably more work down in the utility room.

Good (Tuesday) Remembrance Day morning. Overnight Low of 5.6C and it's presently 11.1C, overcast & calm. It's not going to get much warmer, maybe 13C with rain predicted for later.

Yesterday arvo started with a 'quick' trip to the PO = 2 letters from the Tassie Gov. One was for my annual driver's medical, due to my diabetes, but the second one was for my driver licence renewal. So I went over to the local TasGov Services office (no one was there waiting) and paid a whopping A$12.90 for 5yrs and had my photo taken. Then I went over to the clinic and booked my driving medical for a week Wednesday.

Once home, I fired up the Z-turn for the first time in 7-8 months [it did take a wee bit of patience] and mowed around the house & driveway. To end the day, I got the hedge clipper and knocked down the geraniums. I'll need to rake that up later on.

Today will be taken up with the Remembrance Day parade & ceremony at our St Helens Memorial Park. I believe that there will then be a lunch gathering so I don't know how long the arvo will go on.

That's about it, take care all.

Lest we forget.
