Yes, it does sound way low! But what vehicle has a 4ah battery??? The CT is 150 ah = 123,000 Wh @ 816 volts.

The 48 volt system you seem to be so impressed with is simply another evolution in the automobile which was being seriously debated at least as far back as the early 1990s, so more than 30 years ago and before Tesla even existed.

I don't see how you get that I am impressed by it. I posted facts in a neutral tone.

What does mildly impress me about Tesla's vehicles is the access to "service mode" by the owner. Lots and lots of capabilities in the service mode, tho there is still an additional, expensive subscription service to get all the maker's repair info ($3K/y or $500/mo).

Car makers these days have moved to digital-only service manuals and repair software. I wish I had access to my Hyundai's service software and manuals, as I have always repaired and modified my own vehicles.

Exactly. In fact, I'd argue the CT is more "truck" than an Avalanche or Ridgeline, which is why I asked.

Well, failure or not, the CT is a technological tour-de-force.

I just found out that the CT's low voltage system (the one that runs the lights, window motors, radio, etc.) is 48V, and uses a tiny 4Ah lithium battery. It may be the only EV with a 48V aux. system.

How is the CT any different than an avalanche other than an electric motor in one and not the other?

Don’t they both convert to haul a bigger load?

I have never been close to a CT, but I have been in an avalanche so I’m not sure.
