Does not feel cooler than yesterday and very humid too. Went on another adventure with the excavator looking for logs to use for firewood that are dry enough to burn and found a few and hauled them up in the open to get access to cut and split.
Started to dig out a rock that had bothered me but quickly realized that it was a huge rock too big to move. Covered it up again. They are like icebergs hidden underneath
Ventured out on a steep slope and used the bucket to level up the excavator and push it out. A few tense moments and fastened the seat belt just in case

North of here it shows Bedminster getting soaked, hope Popgadget got his mower put away in time.
West of here, one and two inches of rain reported
starting to rumble now
when it hops around like this, WU modeling has a fit

I looked at WU a little bit ago, didn't show hardly anything, saw a flash flood warning for Morgantown WV area, looked at WU, nothing, even after refreshing the APP. Looked again a few minutes later, totally different, storms everywhere. Not sure what was up with WU.

Back from the dump/town run. Turned the compost piles, both of 'em and the wood pile. Had to swap buckets to do the wood pile. There was a nice breeze blowing so no bugs.
Picked up some radishes which I will check out at supper time.

I got all the open areas and the trimming with the Lazer done, blew off the patios and walks, and mowed the runway.
Blew off and parked the Progressive mower and Lazer, refueled the Kubota and parked everything inside before going out to lunch.
When I got back from lunch, rain gauge was reading almost 2”.
So I got more done than I expected to accomplish. And only got wet getting back to my car from the restaurant.

This morning I completed my 5th activation at US-1718, Southford Falls State Park. It took a long while to get 11 contacts, I only needed 10 but got an extra just in case. I seem to have the logging and uploads figured out so I guess I’m on my way as they say

Lots oks like the rain should be coming it fairly soon. So better wrap up anything that’s not tied down.

I'm partial to Pad Thai, but not too many places fix it to my liking.

Hot and sunny here, 92 deg. They pushed storms back a couple hours, storms all NE of us right now.
Did sams club run for a few things.

Mmmm..... I love pad Thai. There was a noodle place locally that my wife and I would hit frequently that had really good pad Thai.

Then they shut down for a couple months, renovated, and changed their menu.

No more pad Thai, and their food now sucks

Never fails, I find something I really like and then they get rid of it

There is a Japanese hibachi place locally that has pad Thai, but it's a "Fusion" dish, and not as good as the other noodle place when they had it.

Their yaki Udon is really good though

We are getting more general Asian places that kind of do it all, instead of dedicated Chinese or Thai places. Used to be a really good Thai place near work years ago that had excellent Pad Thai, but it eventually went downhills, and finally closed up. Another place near another place I worked also had good pad thai, but a good ways away from home, they are still open. The closest places near me not as good. Now I'm hungry for it.

Starting to hear some thunder rumbling in the distance, been breezy. Im in the middle right now. Warnings are posted
