Comments on that say a blocked LA freeway costs something like $1.5M per minute. Backups grow, miles and miles after a few minutes, and multiple injury accidents are likely before traffic gets moving again. So - Do Something is the priority.

I didn’t have time for a pic but yesterday as I was going to the diner for lunch I met a four wheeler carrying two mobile home axles sideways on the front rack. Luckily there was a bit of a shoulder to go on and I still barely missed him. He wasn’t going slow at all. This was on a secondary state highway.

When dead Ash meets car on the road. Luckily the driver is ok.
We have a large tree drop on a road here about 2 times per month now, many times big enough to cover both lanes and take out power.
This was about a mile from my house. Last one was 2 miles away. Talk about road hazards.
Amazing how much damage a little bug can do.
